Low Corrosion

We are able to offer our hydraulic hand pumps manufactured from materials to provide:

- low internal corrosion within the hydraulic circuit
- low external corrosion from the external environment
- low corrosion both internally and externally.

Low internal corrosion will be demanded where either the medium (such as sea water or brine) is demanding or alternatively where traces of a corrosive fluid build up in the hydraulic fluid and corrode the pump internally. Some systems have to be left for many years in the knowledge that the user is not going to suddenly find that components have seized up or corroded. We have expertise on our materials of construction and applications for different fluids. Both our stainless steel/bronze pumps and our anodised alloy/stainless wetted parts pump units have application for low internal corrosion.

Selection of materials and finishes can provide a hand pump which is durable even in harsh external conditions. Again, the user will not want to find that the unit has seized up when it is used after a period in a harsh environment. Our 316 stainless pumps offer high resistance to corrosion.
