Stainless Steel Hand Pumps
Our Micropac® stainless steel hand pumps are manufactured in stainless steel 316, bronze and small amounts of stainless 302/303/304/420 and 431 stainless.
This offers a very low corrosion pump for the most demanding environments. The durability is substantially better than units manufactured in 303 or 304 stainless. The stainless pumps offer our full range of auxiliary components such as gauges, relief and release valves and our range of seal compounds to suit different fluids.
Users are typically the offshore, defence and process industries where external or internal corrosion resistance is required, the food industry for external resistance to cleaning chemicals and the defence industry for low magnetic permeability (“non magnetic”) properties. Offshore applications have included subsea actuation in diving bells, subsea and rig manual over ride and ESD and even lifeboat release.
